Apache Syncope was chosen as the Identity Management platform because of the simplicity and flexibility of its REST API and also for its support to import users from various sources. Vuforia needed a platform which allows users to self-register, manage passwords and receive notifications on account activity; all of this was supported by Syncope. Syncope’s extendibility was important in the implementation of the complex workflows required by the system.
Furthermore, with some automated configuration scripts, Syncope was deployed on AWS.
However, most important of all, the Tirasa team and support played a huge role in rolling out the product successfully. They provided timely support and always followed up to ensure that all issues were resolved to satisfaction.
